Methodology
Content alignment
Every question and study guide is built around the BACB RBT Test Content Outline (3rd ed., 2026), the official outline the BACB tests against, updated for the 2026 (3rd edition) exam. Each question carries a competency field (e.g. A-01, F-02) so you can study by domain and identify weak spots.
Question bank
The full bank contains 851 questions, and it's the heart of the study pack and the book:
- Topic question sets: focused, domain-by-domain practice (566 questions across 6 content areas)
- Full practice exams: three 85-question simulations of the real exam (255 questions)
- A free 25-question sampler is on the site so you can try the question style before you buy.
Every question maps to one of the 43 official tasks on the BACB RBT Test Content Outline (3rd ed.), so the bank covers the whole blueprint.
Difficulty calibration
Each question is tagged basic, intermediate, or advanced. Basic questions test recall of definitions and procedures. Intermediate questions ask you to apply concepts in clear contexts. Advanced questions are scenario-based: they describe a realistic client interaction and require you to choose the best clinical decision.
Explanations
Every question includes a substantive explanation, not just an answer letter. Explanations teach the underlying concept and call out why each distractor is wrong, so you learn from mistakes rather than just memorize answers.
Updates
Study guides show their last-updated date. This content is AI-assisted and cross-checked against standard ABA and the current BACB outline; it has not been formally reviewed by a board-certified analyst, and we say so plainly in our editorial policy. Limitations and disclaimers
This site is a study resource, not a substitute for supervised practice or a BACB-approved 40-hour training program. Use it alongside official preparation. Passing our practice exams does not guarantee you will pass the real exam.
