About RBT Practice Test
An independent study resource for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) exam: a free practice sampler and study-guide previews to try, with the complete prep available as an affordable book.
Mission
The RBT exam is a financial barrier for many aspiring behavior technicians, and a lot of prep is overpriced. Our aim is affordable, honest prep: a genuinely useful free 25-question sampler and free study-guide previews so you can judge the quality before paying, and the complete 851-question bank, full study guide, and three practice exams as an inexpensive book and study pack. No subscriptions, no signup to try it, and no trackers until you consent.
Methodology
Every question and study guide on this site is written by the RBT Practice Test Editorial Team with AI assistance, cross-checked against standard ABA and the BACB RBT Test Content Outline (3rd ed., 2026). We're upfront that this is an AI-assisted study aid, not content authored by a board-certified analyst. See our editorial policy for exactly how it's made. Each question is mapped to a content domain and competency code, and tagged by difficulty (basic, intermediate, advanced). Read the full methodology page for more.

How this site is funded
Writing and hosting this resource costs money. It's supported mainly by people buying the complete prep:
- The book and study pack: the full 851-question bank, complete study guides, and three practice exams, sold as a direct PDF and on Amazon. The free sampler and previews stay free.
- Affiliate links to recommended books. If you buy through our links, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. See our affiliate disclosure.
- Optional ads or voluntary support. If enabled, ads load only after you opt in via the cookie banner, and you can decline and still use the whole free portion of the site.
